SKIRT
Red yarn.
The skirt will be a separated piece that we will attach to the body afterwards. Don’t worry with its size, it passes around the legs just fine.
Leave a long tail at the beginning and chain 24. Join the last chain with the first chain with a slip stitch to make a circle. Careful to not make it twisted.
Rnd 1: sc in each sc (24)
Rnd 2: *sc in next 3 sc, inc* x6 (30)
Rnd 3-10: sc in each sc (30)
You can do more or less rounds. It will depend on the size of your doll and your stitch.
Change to yellow yarn. Let’s decorate.
Rnd 11: * 3 sc in the next sc, sl st in the next st* x15 (30).
Hide de tails inside the skirt.

MANTLE
Green yarn.
Chain 31 and start the next round by the second chain from hook.

Rnd 4: dec in the next sc, sc in each sc for all over, dec in the last sc (24). Turn.
Rnd 5: dec in the next sc, sc in each sc for all over, dec in the last sc (22).
Leave a tail to join the ends of the mantle later.

FLOWERS
Felt.
Cut little flowers to attach it later to the hair.

BRAID
Use 6 black threads to make a braid. Leave a long tail to sew it later to the head to look like a tiara.

More details:
Using the tapestry needle: join the legs to the body, then the head to the body, then the hair to the head and the bun to the hair. Hide all tails.
Sew the braid as a tiara and hide the tails. Use the fabric glue to attach the flowers to the hair, decorating the tiara.
Don’t forget to sew her eyebrow using the black yarn (a detail that makes all the difference!).
To blush her chicks, I put some red lipstick on my finger and spread it, removing the excess with a piece of toilet paper. But you can use some ink dissolved in water. Be careful, you don’t want Frida Kahlo to look like a clown, do you?

You did it! Isn’t she beautiful with all these colors?🙂
